T-minus two weeks (or so)

We visited with Dr. K yesterday - no progress to report. Things have remained the same as last week. But, she told me that's good because she's going to be out of town this weekend, so she would rather the baby not come until Monday or later! After she told me that, I quickly concurred. She could not offer any more indiciation of an arrival time-frame, so we're basically playing a waiting game right now. Fortunately, the baby is measuring perfectly and has a strong, healthy heartbeat, and my blood pressure is good. So we're still looking forward to a healthy delivery! The only question, of course, is the infamous "when."

In the meantime, my WONDERFUL mother came up on Sunday and did some major cleaning for us. We think we have everything we need (and much much more). All the baby's room is now missing is a baby!

So now we sit. And wait. And see. And pray. Pray for a healthy baby to come soon. It's incredible to me that we have waited SO long to get here...yet the next two weeks seem like an eternity!
