Tomorrow, we go for our 12w appointment. The doctor is going to weigh me and measure me (kind of like a turkey, right?) and then use a Doppler to find Squirt's heartbeat.
The morning sickness has subsided, which is a nice break. I'm still fairly tired most of the time, but I'm patiently waiting for the "switch" to click over to happy peppy energy!
In the meantime, I'm striving to be patient. Trying to patiently await the 20w ultrasound (just to see the baby, not for any other reason)....patiently awaiting for my belly to pop out so I actually LOOK like I'm carrying a child, not just overindulging in desserts...patiently awaiting those first swift kicks. But it's SO HARD!
Anyway, more tomorrow for sure!
